Jimmy Sanders manages the information security for Netflix DVD. Jimmy has been involved in computer technology for over 17 years with 11 years focused on security. He is the current president of the SFBay Chapter of ISSA (Information Systems Security Association). Prior to Netflix, Jimmy was the Security Architect for Samsung Research of America. He has built and maintained security environments for companies large and small. He is on the committee for the annual Bay Area security conference the Cornerstones of Trust in addition to serving as the Cyber Security Committee advisor for Ohlone College. Jimmy also serves on the Advisory Council for the SecureWorld Conference organization. Jimmy is proficient at establishing and maturing enterprise security environments, achieving compliance with various audits, as well as fostering a security minded culture. Jimmy Sanders maintains the certifications of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk Information and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM). He holds a BA from San Jose State University.
